Peter spent much of his early career drawing and painting commissioned portraits of people, their pets and wild animals, including dolphins, for nature lovers. Photographic records of much of his earlier work were seldom taken, were of bad quality or have unfortunately gone missing. The following oil paintings are a few examples selected from some of his last nature works completed between 2001 and 2004, with ‘Addo Elephants’ being the exception and commissioned in 2007 by an art collector from the UK.
