Growing up on the water’s edge led Peter to a lifelong fascination with water, particularly the ocean. A childhood impulse to interpret his watery surroundings brought about his first river and seascape drawings. He continued his growth with commissioned seascapes in pastel on Canson paper, and later progressed to oil on canvas paintings. Photographic records of much of his earlier work are unfortunately missing. The following selection of seascape paintings were completed between 2001 and 2006.
