I’ve had the privilege of giving guest lessons at a local elementary school for the last several months. One of their popular after-school activities is the Nature Education Programme by Miss School Garden, who asked me if I would be interested in taking over a few lessons a week. I am familiar with the programme and had been considering creative workshops and private art classes of my own. Growing up in nature inspired me to be creative, so I looked forward to collaborating and sharing the experience. I enjoy a creative approach to learning and believe that fostering creativity plays an important role in education. Nature is a wonderful source of inspiration and sparks creativity in many ways. Intertwined they provide a fun way to learn while encouraging a deeper connection with nature. Being able to connect with the students and participate in this growth has been a rewarding adventure.
Looking forward to a new season of rocks, twigs, leaves and mud…
