2011 Mar 15th - The first few Peter Strobos limited edition Certified Art Giclées on museum canvas were recently completed and shipped. They are of an exceptional quality and capture the originals so well that it is difficult to tell the difference! More Giclées will most definitely follow.

Jan 14th - Peter and his girls are delighted to share artwork with the Drawing Dreams Foundation - Nurturing Children's Creative Minds and Spirits. Drawing Dreams is a newly organized Berkeley, California-based 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization that provides art supplies to hospitalized children through children's hospitals' Artist-in-Residence and Child Life programs. A lovely website for a great cause, well worth paying a visit to!

2010 Nov 30th - Peter Strobos oil on linen painting, An ethereal synchronism, chosen to represent MyArtspace at SCOPE Miami 2010 in the Exhibitors catalogue on the SCOPE Art Show website.
Nov 27th - A selection of Peter's work will be digitally on display with MyArtspace - Booth A32 at the SCOPE Miami 2010 show Nov 30th - Dec 5th, running concurrently with Art Basel Miami. SCOPE is the largest and most global art fair in the world featuring emerging contemporary art with 7 markets worldwide.There will be an impressive list of journalists, writers, museum representatives, collectors and artists at the show. Aug 20th - Peter attended the opening reception of the 2010 Chelsea International Fine Art Competition Exhibition at Agora Gallery, Chelsea - Manhattan, New York City, yesterday evening. “A lovely display of work, with a great atmosphere. It was wonderful to meet with all involved and an honour to participate in such a great event.”
Aug 18th - Art Collectors, Dennis and Linda McLain, kindly invited Peter to stay at their beautiful home in Raleigh, and took the time to show their exquisite collection of artwork. As well as being able to view this lovely body of work, Peter was also given the history and shown parts of Eastern North Carolina, including interesting art venues. Mr McLain also generously took three days to show Peter various historical sites, museums and galleries in Washington DC, near the Capitol. Peter was deeply moved by the experience and would like to convey a very special thank you to the McLain’s. He will carry the vivid impressions for the years to come, and is proud that five of his own works form part of their beautiful collection.
Aug 17th - The 2010 Chelsea International Fine Art Competition Exhibition at Agora Gallery in Chelsea - New York, including Peter's artwork, opened to the public at 11.00am today.
Aug 11th - Peter arrived in New York - Manhattan on August 5th, to meet with Agora Gallery in Chelsea, and deliver work for the 2010 Chelsea International Fine Art Competition Exhibition. After spending the last days exploring the renowned Chelsea Arts district and more, he today arrived in Raleigh - North Carolina, to work on one of five Strobos paintings, forming part of a private collection there.
Aug 2nd - Commissioned work recently completed by Peter for a private collector in London. Tulips, an oil on linen triptych consisting of 33 x 29½ x 1¾ in. (84 x 50 x 4.5cm) panels.
Jul 21st - Agora Gallery will donate 25% of its proceeds from the sale of artwork from the 2010 Annual Chelsea International Fine Art Competition Exhibition to Art Start. Art Start brings together art, artists and children in need throughout the New York Metropolitan Area.

Apr 23rd - Peter has received a Certificate of Excellence for The 25th Annual Chelsea International Fine Art Competition, granted by the competition juror, Megan Fontanella, Assistant Curator of the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum. The Annual Competition is hosted by the Agora Gallery, Chelsea, New York.
Mar 26th - Peter entered work into the The Chelsea International Fine Art Competition and was selected to participate in a Collective Exhibition at the Agora Gallery, Chelsea, New York. The competition juror was Megan Fontanella, Assistant Curator of the Guggenheim Museum. The exhibition takes place August 17th through September 7th, with an opening reception on Thursday, August 19th, 2010 from 6 - 8 pm. Click here to view the results.

2009 Peter and his family have relocated to Wijk bij Duurstede in The Netherlands.

2008 Peter and his family relocated to Sitges, Barcelona - Spain, in Nov 2007. After many months of official procedures, unexpected setbacks, general settling in, and the birth of a third daughter, he is gradually able to paint once again. Amongst recently completing commissioned work for established clients from the United Kingdom, South Africa and Spain, he is presently working on one of a series of projects for an art collector from North Carolina in the United States. He has begun preparing work for a solo exhibition in the near future and plans to visit the United States in 2010, to complete work on a project, and meet with prospective galleries.
